An elegant and festive dish – scallops on shells with garlic butter and grated cheese. A great choice for an aperitif, dinner with friends or a romantic evening. Easy to make, looks spectacular and just melts in your mouth.
š½ Preparation
1ļøā£ Prepare the scallops
Defrost the scallops in the fridge. Rinse them under cold water. Using a sharp, flexible knife, separate the scallop from the shell. Gently pat the scallop and shell dry with a kitchen towel and return the scallop to its place.
2ļøā£ Preparing the garlic butter
Mix the softened butter with the finely grated garlic, grated mozzarella, finely chopped parsley and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
3ļøā£ Laying out and baking
Line a baking tray with baking paper. Arrange the scallops in a single layer. Spread about a teaspoon of garlic oil on each scallop. Preheat the oven to 180-200 °C (top heat mode with convection is best) and bake for 7-10 minutes, until the butter starts to turn golden.

4ļøā£ Serving
Place 3 scallops each on a serving dish. Serve immediately while they are hot.
